Hello I'm Jesse Carter

Hey everyone, my name is Jesse Carter; I answer to Jesse or Jess, whichever is easier. I have been in love with fitness ever since I was 12 years old. I grew up playing sports and spending most of my free time outdoors as a member of the boy scouts. I received my Eagle Scout shortly before my 18th birthday and used my leadership skills acquired throughout that process to better myself in the United States Army. The military taught me many life lessons and gave me the honor to serve along with many amazing men and women.  I was awarded the Army Commendation Medal and Army Achievement medal during my service. As much as I enjoyed serving our country, my true passion was and still is, health and wellness. After my military service, I received a Certificate of Achievement in Exercise and Sports Science and passed the American College of Sports Medicine Certified Personal Trainer Exam. I completed my Degree in Exercise and Sports Science in December of 2013 at the University of Hawaii. While attending UOH, I was an intern under their head Athletic Director and Strength and Conditioning Coach. This allowed me to develop my knowledge and experience as a Personal Trainer. Health and wellness have always been a part of my career field and personal development. In 2017, I received my Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) License and became a certified Firefighter. I am very ambitious and goal-oriented. I have been a health coach for ten years now, and my goal here at Revive Health and Wellness is to educate and provide a safe environment for anyone looking to start their own fitness journey! I am skilled in many areas of wellness, such as bodybuilding, functional training and rehabilitation for those that need assistance in post-op recovering or just understanding proper body mechanics. I know most people want to lose weight and would love to be educated on proper eating habits and nutrition. Along with my training regimens, I will evaluate your current eating habits and help you understand what you should be eating, among other reasons why your nutrition is holding you back.
